Merchandiser Footwear Developer

**Footwear Developer (Product Management). This position is more on merchandising and handle sample production and delivery to the Buyer.**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
- To work closely with the Merchandise division for concept development, art direction and execution of all creative deliverables.
- Manage the footwear samples to be delivered on time for meetings with buyers.
- Present footwear products to the buyers and explain the details.
- Handle the entire process from idea generation to final product delivery according to the time frame, closely follow up with the factory/Development in China.
- Up to date with the current fashion style and generate market research reports.
- To assist in carrying out other ad hoc tasks as and when required.
**Market Survey / Trend sensing / Sales data analysis**
**Footwear Development**
a-1) Creating new design concepts by sensing the upcoming fashion trends.
a-2) Communicating with designers and developers in the sourcing team.
a-3) Improving the product's quality for less cost with better value.
a-4 ) Managing the mass production and delivery schedule between factories and wholesale buyers.
**Footwear Sample Management**
b-1) Determines the process for creating new samples.
b-2) Monitoring the sample delivery and checking the status.
b-3) Managing the samples to be displayed, distributed, stored, and disposed of.
b-4) Monitor the sample arrangement with the Courier
**Leading Convention**
c-1) Arranging the convention schedule concerning the overall timelines.
c-2) Introducing FILA brand direction and Footwear products with explaining the details to the buyers to maximize the sales.
**Monitoring the production schedule**
d-1) Preemptively urging the factories for the POs expected to be unavailable to meet the delivery time.
d-2) Setting the priority of urgent POs to minimize the loss from the late delivery.
d-3) Coming up with alternative ways to solve the problem between buyers’ needs and the factory’s circumstances.
Responding to the buyers’ requests and questions.
Solving any unexpected problems and making process to prevent it.
Communicating with HQ in Korea to respond to their requests and questions.
- **JOB REQUIREMENT**:_
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Knowledgeable in fashion trends.
- Skillful in Microsoft / Google Workspace.
- Previous work experience in the fashion industry is an added advantage.
- Good communication / Presentation skills in both written and verbal English and Mandarin.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
