In this role, you will:
**Operation, Process Control, Quality, Safety and Housekeeping**
- To assist in the operation of rewinder as per schedule and meeting quality requirement.
- To assist in checking of slitting width for the first set of the shift ands after any knife, adjustment or setting change.
- To check visual attribute of every hardroll and ensure out of specification roll are rejected.
- To cut, collect sample for Rewinder Opeartor II to conduct variable characteristic test at QA.
- To assist in the setting of slitter knives for cutting whenever cutting change.
- To weight hardroll after kick out and attach sticker to the roll.
- To record weight, number of Blue Star, accepted and rejected roll accurately to the production report.
- To prepare core onto core shaft for standby.
- To assist in trouble shooting on rewinding problem.
- To operate overhead crane to lift reel to unwind stand and lift empty spool to reel section including cutting slab waste.
- To collect core requirement for the shift from core winder area.
- To operate 13in. core operation if reel producing jumbo roll.
- To performing housekeeping activities including blowing dust at rewinder and surrounding area.
- To learn to operate Rewinder Operation from Rewinder Operator II.
- To take immediate action to correct rewinding defects in the absence of Rewinder Operator II and report to Supervisor if unable to solve problem.
- To feedback to Rewinder Operator if detect any reel with defects or reel affecting rewinding quality immediately or directly to Supervisor if Rewinder Operator is not available.
- To arrange trim onto pallet if rewinding trim and sent to furnish area when it is full or completed trim rewinding.
- To clear loose broke, slab waste and rejected roll into dryend pulper.
- To report on hazard issue in Hazard Reporting logbook and to Supervisor.
- To adhere to all safety procedure and guideline.
- To use PPE as per safety requirement.
- To report any safety violation
**Center lining Form, Communication and others**
- To fill-up preventive and housekeeping checklist.
- To fill-up waste and delay tracking.
- To perform SPC trend check immediate after every attribute inspection and variable testing.
- To fill-up Critical process setting.
- To attend daily shift meeting.
- To ensure shift change communication are carried out.
- To write shift report in the communication logbook to include issue to be follow-up, operation issues, activities carried out & action taken to resolve problem
