Key Responsibilities:

- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of a team of mechanical technicians and riggers.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and ensure timely completion of work.
- Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
- **Installation and Maintenance**:

- Oversee the installation, dismantling, and relocation of tower cranes and passenger hoists.
- Ensure proper setup, alignment, and calibration of equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety regulations and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to crane and hoist operations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and project progression.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project status, equipment conditions, and any issues that arise.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Conduct final inspections and tests to verify proper installation and functioning of equipment.
- **Resource Management**:

- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
- Order and procure necessary materials and equipment.
- Ensure efficient use of resources to avoid waste and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience with tower cranes and passenger hoists.
- **Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Certifications**:

- Relevant certifications in crane operation, rigging, and safety are highly desirable.
- OSHA or equivalent safety certification.

Working Conditions:

- Must be able to work in outdoor environments and at heights.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Must be available for emergency repairs and overtime as required.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and work for extended periods.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
