Pharmacy Technician

**Job Profile**:

- Operate lab scale machine.
- Maintain record-keeping systems, store and hygiene.
- Prepare sample in different forms; capsules, troches, ointments, creams, lotions, gels and suppositories.
- Package and label prepared sample.
- Place and confirm that the beyond use date on the patient’s product label is correct.
- Execute operation & quality procedures on assigned randomly sampled scripts and document results following standards.
- Responsible for daily cleaning and logs in accordance to established policy.
- Perform daily work on all equipment including tablet machines, counters, and cleaning balances.
- Perform filling and unloading of the dishwasher.
- Ensure all equipment, including freezer/fridge temperatures and weights on scales at work station are verified and maintained every morning.
- Ensure that all relevant steps in each compound are verified with the supervising leader.
- Take part in departmental meetings, as well as in relevant educational programs.
- May be asked to handle special projects as well as perform other duties that may be assigned.

**Job Level Standard**:

- Proven experience as a lab operator or production assistant preferred.
- Good attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills, compassion and highly motivated.
- Willingness to keep up to date with new products and practices.
- Proficiency in 2 or more languages (Malay, English or Chinese dialects)
- Knowledge of State laws regulating pharmaceutical compounding practice.
- Strong knowledge of product preparation, packaging and labeling as well as hygiene.
- Effective oral and verbal communication, with co-staff, pharmacists, and the public.
- Ability to excel performing multiple tasks at the same time without making errors

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
