**F&B business in Bangsar South is looking for an experienced and capable chef to help with early stages of business development and menu design. You will be able to**
- To assist in business development of a small café that focuses on providing healthy ready-to-eat and ala-carte meals.
- Create, design, and improve the menu based on feedback from customers and dietitians
- Ensure day to day operations are carried smoothly in accordance with company SOP
- Perform inventory check and report the need to the manager.
- Prepare orders in timing, tastes food, and ensure ideal food presentation
- Adhere to highest standard of hygiene, quality, and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Maintain good communication with the front house regarding product availability, meal preparation, and any questions regarding menu items.
- Maintain kitchen tools, equipment, and working area. Report any issue to the manager on prompt manner.
**Qualification**
- Possess between 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Good organizational and time management skill
- Able to maintain a high standard for food, service & hygiene practice
- Service oriented with strong passion quality of food preparation
- Ability to work without close supervision
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
