Headquartered in Hong Kong, we’re building an energetic team in Malaysia to support the platform development. We’re looking for an ambitious and purpose-driven IT Manager to jump on board. You will be resourceful and enthusiastic, and passionate for a new challenge in a fast-paced environment.

**The Roles**:
The IT Manager responsible for managing office operations and supervising the Technology team based in Malaysia.

You will work closely with the tech team in Hong Kong and report directly to the Application Director based in Hong Kong.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to oversee operations in Malaysia Office; Provide technical leadership and guidance for the projects the team works on to ensure successful delivery
- Supervise a team of Tech engineers and Quality Assurance Testers including but not limited to facilitate recruitment, administration, supervision, coaching, development, performance management of staff
- Provide necessary support to employees and ensure smooth operations for delivering the business outcomes.
- Manage resource plan together with the Application Director and Project Manager aligning to the project schedule
- Coordinate multi-stakeholders, to understand business requirements, technical design, and preparing of technical specifications
- Participate in technical projects, including code review, bug tracking, sprint planning, testing, and knowledge transfer to team members
- Review and develop technical documentation like API mapping, coding standards, and other technical understanding documents
- Hands-on participate in development and bugs fixing
- Strong technical knowledge and skills, consistently provide technical guidance and develop team members
**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant disciplines
- 8 years & above of experience in software development preferably in insurance and financial services field, at least 3 years of team leadership experience
- Experience in Agile software development
- Strong software engineering skills in design, development, configuration management, testing, CI, deployment
- Experience in the review and developing test plans and frameworks for both functional and performance testing
- Experience in QA Automation testing with good exposure to automation testing tools and framework
- Good project management skills and experience, any certification such as PMP are added advantage
- Able to lead recruitment and hiring activities for the team
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven analytical & problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills with the self-initiative mindset
- Proficient in spoken **Mandarin/ Cantonese** to support the business in Hong Kong

**Salary**: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
