**Responsibilities & Authorities**
- Responsible for the overall purchasing operation activities, including issuing and submission of Quotation, Delivery Order, Invoice, Purchase Order and other documentation as needed.
- Prepare quotation, r other related matters based on job information/project requirements.
- Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
- Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
- Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
- Expedite and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery to support production and project.
- Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
- Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
- Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply.
- Work with team members, supervisors, and purchasing manager to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with vendors.
- Assist in problem solving and suggest ways to improve the project.
- Ensure to comply with ISO requirement within the organization.
- Perform other duties assigned or as instructed by the management.
**Competency Requirements**
- At least 1 year an experience in wood manufacturing is required for this position.
- Required language(s): Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Expert in negotiate or renegotiate and administer contracts/orders with suppliers and other representatives.
- Knowledge in shipping are advantage.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
