EHS Officer

To execute the responsibility of Occupational Safety and Health Officer as per listed in the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Officer) Regulations 1997.
- To advise management or any person in charge of the workplace on the measures to be taken in the interests of the worker's safety and health.
- To conduct an inspection of the workplace to ascertain whether any machinery, plant, equipment, material, appliance, procedure, or type of manual labor used therein is potentially dangerous and capable of injuring workers physically
- To investigate any accident, near-missed accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, or occupational disease which has happened in the workplace and report to DOSH in accordance to OSH Act 2022.
- Control and plan all PPE requirements, issuance, training, and record-keeping.
- Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety.
- Take pro-active measures to identify hazards, assess the risk and then implement suitable control measures to eliminate all dangers.
- Review all HIRARC and Job Hazard Analysis before its execution.
- To comply and review with all legislatives matters and to update latest legal and other compliance accordingly.
- Provide support and advice to management implementation and auditing on the safety, health, security, and environment matters.
- To monitor the workplace compliance with the safety work standard, safety procedures, and authorities’ requirements.
- To attend audit from authorities i.e DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, and etc.
- To lead company Emergency Response Team (ERT) & promote environmental health and safety awareness to employees.
- To control and take actions in the event of emergency. E.g. fire, major chemical spillage, floods etc.
- To assist in organizing and implementing occupational safety, health and environment program at the workplace.
- Any assignment as deemed fit and necessary by the Management.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- EHS: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Bahasa Malaysia (preferred)
- English (preferred)

License/Certification:

- SHO Green Book (preferred)
