Pharmacist

**Position: Pharmacist**

**Location**: Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

**Age Range**: 25 to 30 years

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Medication Dispensing and Counseling**:

- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory requirements.
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients on proper usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications and healthcare products.

**Pharmacy Operations**:

- Maintain pharmacy inventory levels and ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in the ordering and stocking of pharmaceutical products.
- Monitor expiration dates and ensure the removal of expired medications from inventory.

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards governing the practice of pharmacy.
- Maintain accurate records of prescription transactions and controlled substances in compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities during inspections and audits as necessary.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Perform routine quality checks on medications and healthcare products to ensure safety and efficacy.
- Identify and report medication errors or adverse drug reactions promptly.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships.
- Assist patients with over-the-counter medication selections and health-related inquiries.
- Educate patients on medication adherence and proper medication storage.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized institution.
- Registered Pharmacist with the Malaysian Pharmacy Board.
- 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and dosage forms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
- Proficiency in using CRM software.
- Fluent in English and Malay, both spoken and written.
