Drive R & D initiatives to develop/ formulate new adhesive systems to meet customers and manufacturing needs
- Able to work independently and responsible for key projects that is expected to provide innovative solution to support business / commercials goals.
- Identify new material/ substrate to improve costs, processability and overall product performance
- To interact pro-actively with current and potential suppliers to obtain information, samples and technical support
- Develop, improve, and customize formulas, processes and analytical methods
- Evaluation of alternative source/grade of raw materials, adhesive tapes & labelstocks substitution as part of the activities for cost saving and product quality improvement
- Evaluation of competitor’s product quality and provide recommendation to customers
- Trouble-shooting product quality & provide technical recommendation on process optimization
- Controlling, creating and updating Manufacturing BOMs, Product Technical Data Sheet/Specification, Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Product Legal Requirements (e.g. : REACH, RoHS, etc)
- Evaluate employees’ competency level, and plan for require training to reduce the performance gap.
