**Responsibilities**:
- Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
- Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
- Decorating and displaying finished products.
- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
- Keeping records relating to inventory and production levels.
- Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
**Job Requirements**:
- Previous work experience as a Baker/Pastry Chef.
- Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills.
- Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
- Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field is a plus.
- Culinary school degree/diploma is a plus.
