- Provide prompt responses to clients' requests and queries.
- Maintenance of statutory registers and submission of statutory returns
- Follow-up with clients on outstanding tasks to ensure prompt response by clients within the stipulated deadline.
- Striking off companies.
- Prepare resolutions, minutes of meetings, and ancillary documents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Perform any other secretarial duties and support as and when assigned by the management.

**Position: Assistant Manager / Manager, Corporate Secretarial**

**Requirements**:

- CGI (ICSA) qualification
- With at least 4-5 years for assistant manager or 5-7 years for manager or 8-10 years for senior manager of relevant company secretarial experience in commercial companies or medium to large secretarial service providers (preferred).
- Knowledge of Listing Requirements, Companies Act, Capital Market and Securities Act, and other statutory requirements, securities and business rules and regulations that are related to corporate secretarial functions.
- Experience in administering services to both private limited and public-listed companies, and handling multinationals, regional offices and branch offices
- Good inter-personal and communication skills.
- Experience in minutes writing with a strong command of English language and business writing skills.
- Able to work independently, lead and motivate a team of professional staff
- Meticulous, detailed and deadline-oriented.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, for both private limited and public-listed companies, inclusive of fee billing and collection.
- Advise clients on the Companies Act 2016, Listing Requirements and Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance.
- Prepare or review of resolutions and documents for lodgement at the relevant authorities and monitor compliance with submission deadlines.
- Oversee daily operations of the respective team members and ensure all communications with clients are supported with proper documentation and responsibilities to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with Companies Commission of Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission and all other relevant authorities in connection with company secretarial matters.
- Attend meetings i.e. Board meetings, Annual General Meetings and others as required, and undertake preparation of meeting notice, agenda and minutes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in the corporate secretariat complies with the Companies Act, 2016 and any other regulatory requirements such as Bursa Malaysia’s Listing Requirements.
