Job Title: Kitchen Helper

Overseeing Areas:
The Kitchen Helper will report to the Operation Manager and collaborate with the culinary team, cat cafe staff, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations. The role involves supporting the production of high-quality cat foods and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

**Job Descriptions**:
Food Preparation:

- Assist in the preparation of cat foods and treats according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations during food handling.

Kitchen Cleanliness:

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

Ingredient Handling:

- Receive and store food ingredients appropriately.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and notifying the kitchen manager of any shortages.

Collaboration with Culinary Team:

- Work closely with the culinary team to support the overall efficiency of the kitchen.
- Follow instructions from chefs and cooks to contribute to the preparation of high-quality cat foods.

Sanitation Procedures:

- Adhere to sanitation and cleanliness protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic food production environment.
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling.

Assistance in Cat Cafe:

- Support the cat cafe by assisting in the preparation of cat-friendly treats and beverages.
- Collaborate with the cafe team to ensure timely delivery of food items.

Compliance with Health and Safety Standards:

- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines set by local and regulatory authorities.
- Participate in regular training on food safety and hygiene practices.

Adaptability:

- Undertake any additional tasks reasonably requested by other department heads.

**Qualifications**:

- At least PMR or SPM requirements.
- Able to work efficiently, independently to complete tasks on time with mínimal supervision.
- Good attitude, hard-working, well-disciplined and punctuality.
- No experience required.

Additional Requirements:

- Passion for cats and a deep understanding of their care needs.
- Adaptability to the unique challenges and requirements of a business focused on cat-related services and products.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month

**Education**:

- STM/STPM (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen Staff: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Johor Bahru (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Johor Bahru: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
