Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer you will be responsible for authoring, copyediting and maintaining high-quality technical content using our in-house documentation style guide for our clients.

This includes how-to articles, research papers, reports, white papers, and other types of technical content.

**Here are some ways you will be working together with us at TQ**:

- Write high quality technical documentations, which includes, but is not limited to report writing, white papers, research papers, how-to articles, and guides, and assist in editing articles on a regular basis
- Ensure that all content is accurate, concise, easy to understand and of the highest quality by editing and proofreading each piece of writing before submitting it for review/publishing
- Adhere strictly to the in-house technical documentation style guide
- Conduct thorough research and interviews to understand TQ’s products/services and industry-related topics
- Strong interpersonal skills to constantly liaise with relevant team members to ensure that you have the required information necessary to write content for upcoming releases, and the ability to meet deadlines, taking into account any changes in release schedules
- Ability to collaborate with teams across different locations
- Driven, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Have a growth mindset, be eager to learn, and show humility in receiving feedback

- An ability to understand complex technical information and concepts and turn it into accurate, concise, and easy to understand documents with speed and agility
- Experience with or exposure to all or any of the following tools (or tools that are similar to these):

- Microsoft Office
- Google Workspace (G Suite)
- Wordpress
- A fast learner with an interest in and an understanding of technology
- Excellent command of the English language, with impeccable writing, editing, and communication skills
- Able to conceptualize, write, and structure various types of technical content for different audiences
- Editorial background, with good skills in grammar, proofreading, and copy editing
- Actively seeks feedback from all levels and works with other writers to raise the bar
- Proactive, resourceful, meticulous, analytical, and detail-oriented
- A team player
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholder needs to work on last minute changes and/or requirements

Bonus
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in a Technical Writing role
- Familiar with Agile methodology
- Comfortable preparing diagrams and visual materials
- Comfortable in dealing with high volume workloads and deadlines
- Experience with customer support
- Experience working in a cross-functional team
