Supv, Facilities

**Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**
- Delivery constant facilities availability and backup or support systems. Ensure the functionality, efficiency and safety of facility equipment and facility services.
- Focus on using best practice to improve energy efficiency by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
- Work closely with facility management and other team members and prioritize and address maintenance needs.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of maintenance activities, repair, and equipment inventory.
- Collaborate, oversee, and manage renovation jobs, projects, repairing jobs and others facility services set up jobs with appointed contractors.And ensuring works is completed to required standard, specification, quality and works complete within the timeline or plan schedule. Following up on any deficiencies.
- Work with purchasing department on projects specification, requirement and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
- Facility Equipment troubleshooting and provide hand-on support on Compressed air system, Chilled water system, Electrical system, and other Facilities services. Identifying potential issues and report.
- Attended internal and external audits, local authorities’ inspection.
- Plan for Facility Equipment PM schedule internal and external, coordinate with team members, contractors based on PM plan. Revise, re-schedule as necessary. Keep accurate records of PM maintenance schedule (according to plan internal and external).and ensure PM plan conduct and complete.
- ECOS (Energy Commission Online System) registration and system maintain and registration as company competent person. Maintenance 11KV Electrical system, license renewal and compliance to ST (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) requirements.
- Review department procedures from time to time, revise WRI, PM plan. When change of Facility setup or increase of Facility equipment.
- Work with purchasing department on facility annual services contract and fulfil requirement.
- Solar PV system maintenance.
- Others duty will be assigned.

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all activities are performed in a manner that does not create unnecessary environmental impacts.
- Lead and supervise facility team members to achieve department KPI, providing guidance, training, assign tasks, coordinate work schedules. And ensure tasks, complete according to schedule or plan.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with local regulations.
- Evaluate vendor, supplier, contractors’ performance.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility equipment and facility services in plant.
- System and documentations update and revise. Departments PM plan, procedure, TTP, EAI, WRI and others.
- Scissor lift maintenance and permit of work for scissor lift.
- FM Global red tag, hot work permit.
- Noticed to operation teams when conduct facility PM, system testing, facility equipment down.
- Attended on-site during emergency major breakdown on facility equipment. As necessary.
- Ensure contractor conducts PM, repairing, new facility setup according to annual service contract, PO.

**Key Skills**:

- Project management - previous experience of delivering projects on budget / time.
- Good knowledge of HT, LV electrical systems, compressed air systems, chilled water systems, air conditioning systems and Fire Fighting systems.
- Previous experience of managing ISO, facility management, ESD, ESH and EMS environment management systems.
- PC literate with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and leadership.

**Education and/or Experience**
- Ideally educated to degree level, but not essential.
- Minimum with 5 to 6 years working experience in managing the facilities in medium size manufacturing plant.
- Certify competent person of BO 11KV Charge-man. Preferred, Solar PV system maintenance.

**Language Skills**
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, CAD drawings, etc.
- Must have the ability to perform additions, subtractions, etc.

**Computer Skills**
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
