Hse Supervisor

Providing a point of contact for supervisors in plants and yard and to act as advisors on HSE related matters. - Acting as the focal point ensuring sufficient and accurate feedback is given to the Senior Safety and Safety Officer on a day to day basis or immediately when deemed required. - Assisting in giving support by conducting risk assessments, JHAs, development of SWPs and other HSE related matters. - Providing backup on plant orientation for new intakes upon completion of safety induction. - Coordinating and documenting all HSE related activities on site and reporting of such activities to the Senior Safety and Safety Officer by utilizing the HSE-FRM-61 (HSE hand over report form) and HSE Department monthly duty roster. - Conducting scheduled and random drug and alcohol screening as stipulated in the WCM’s Drug & Alcohol Policy and HSE Program. - Following-up in the corrective action and closure of individual SORs and ensuring files are properly kept and maintained. - Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all emergency and fire-fighting equipment and maintaining accurate and current records of the inspection. - The inspection of trucks, cranes, fork/vacuum lifts and other related machineries and ensuring follow-up action is timely taken and closed by the respective supervisors. - Reporting of all accidents and incidents and carrying out the investigations and report writing and complete compilation of all documents close out and continuous following up of all corrective and preventive action. - Carrying out any other HSE related duties as assigned by the HSE Officer and HSE Manager. - To understand and comply with Corporate Social Responsibility (Labor) as per Recruitment Policy.
