Mes Configurator

Deep understanding of MES Systems (FTPC, PROMIS or Camstar) and where data resides in ERP, Plant management or training systems.
- Monitors and works to resolve transaction failures between business systems within the Information Technology (IT) organization to support Manufacturing.
- Coordinates all Manufacturing Execution System (MES) configurations (i.e., components/parts, Bill of Materials (BOM), route, operation, etc.) on both a local and global level for existing/new top level and sub-assembly parts.
- Translate business requirements for routes, operations, equipment and financials into corresponding system requirements and work with other IT system owners (if needed) to achieve the requirements
- Coordinates with Operations, IT Infrastructure and Applications Development groups for conducting business systems maintenance, improvements, and upgrades.
- Guide business on best practices for process and corresponding system configurations.
- Responsible for providing instructional training and assessment/certification support for the business systems.
- Develops training materials specific to manufacturing business systems and keeps content up to date with process/system changes.
- In coordination with Human Resources and accordance with regulatory agency requirements, oversees operator training certifications for MES.
- Identifies reporting needs, document requirements and routinely reviews MES status reports to verify system accuracy; takes corrective action when necessary.
- Works closely with all operations groups to identify potential system enhancements that will improve manufacturing yield, reduce scrap, and improve overall productivity

**Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems (IS), Computer Science (CS), a related field, or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of progressively more responsible experience in manufacturing systems, including experience with automated tools.
- Must have a demonstrated familiarity with engineering and manufacturing documentation.
- Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines on multiple projects, and rotate through all jobs performed in the assigned work group as needed

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
