**Primary Objective**:

- Daily manage, monitor and process payment trade and cash flow effectively
- Preparation of monthly trade payable schedules for analysis purpose
- To strengthen the internal control measures to ensure accuracy and completeness of payment and prevention of fraud and financial loss
- Preparation and submission of financial reporting to Group Finance and regulatory reporting.
- Provide oversights overseas Finance team and liaison with auditors and Group Tax
- Collaborate with Process Re-engineering CoE Squad to enhance and automate processes in finance operations
- Execute required operational task and provide operational expertise to teams

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Expertise in documentation processes and activities
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
- Ensure team members follow the standards and practices of their functional expertise
- Continuously drive improvements and enhancements
- Act as authorizer if required in processing workflow
- Manage and monitor daily settlement for creation/cancellation, payment for redemptions and operating expenses
- Manage authorization to approve payment
- Manage and monitor cash flow daily and deposit placements
- Prepare net trading reconciliation
- Review and approve Journal entries
- Review trade audit schedule
- Prepare yearly Transfer Pricing document including reviewing the new related parties’ agreement, if any.
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly financial reporting (ie. MFR, GFR, GFR14, LCR, Fund Base, etc) to Group Finance
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly Securities Commission (SC) Reporting
- Attend to internal and external auditors
- Assists in ad-hoc assignment/task as and when assigned by superior
- Ability to work well under pressure, detail oriented and employs a proactive approach to problem solving
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
- Provide guidance and advice to team members
- Requirements

**Requirements**:
Bachelor Degree - Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics.

At least 5 years’ experience as in Finance, Audit or Accounting of which at least 3 years in assets management /unit trust industry.
- Accounting knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel skills, including the ability to perform lookups, pivot tables and formulas/macros
- Proficiency in Oracle system and TM1
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in extraction information from financial systems
- Good supervision and management skills
- Expertise in documentation processes and activities
- Expertise and capability of performing tasks relevant to the domain and delivering required output
- Good problem solving skills
- Good communication skills (ability to communicate/collaborate with team members)
- Ability to be patient and actively listens to others, and understands others' views
