Perioperative Nurse

**Job Summary**

The patient care assistant attends to the patient's basic needs.

**Job** **Responsibilities**
- Greet patients politely and provide good customer service to patients at all times.
- Assists in ambulation / walking.
- Assists in feeding / bathing / showering / personal hygiene.
- Assist in getting in and out of bed, eg. lifting, transferring within / between beds / stretcher / wheelchair and chair.
- Assists in toileting.
- General supervision and help in daily living.
- Responsible for the cleanliness in the patient's unit / clinic.
- Responsible for the care and cleanliness of the department's basic equipment.

Chaperone doctor or technician during physical examination or procedures on female patients.
