**JOB SCOPE**

Incident Detection and Triage:
a)Monitor security alerts, logs and network traffic to identify potential security incidents.

b)Quickly assess the severity and potential impact of incidents and classify them based on predefined criteria.

Incident Response and Management:
a)Lead incident response efforts during cyber security incidents and breaches

b)Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to contain, mitigate and recover from security incidents.

c)Handle security incidents and provide Level Two (L2) support during analysis and investigations to identify the root cause.

Incident Containment and Eradication:
a)Develop and execute strategies to contain and mitigate the impact of security incidents.

b)Work with technical teams to isolate affected systems, remove malware and eliminate vulnerabilities.

Incident Reporting and Documentation:
a)Document incident details, analysis findings and response actions taken.

b)Prepare clear and concise incident reports for stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.

Remediation Planning:
a)Develop and recommend actionable remediation plans to address vulnerabilities and weaknesses identified during incident investigations.

b)Collaborate with IT teams to implement security improvements.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- At least hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering recognized by the Government.
- Possess at least one (1) professional certification in the field of cyber security as follows or equivalent:
a) GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

b) GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)

c)Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Experienced in the field of Cyber Security/ICT and related for 5 - 7 years.
- Experienced in a Security Operation Center (SOC) environment for more than 5 years.
- Experienced in analyzing and responding to cyber crime, hacker activities and Advanced Persistent Threat (APT).
- Having a solid understanding of cyber security principles, network protocols, operating systems and general security technology.

**Salary**: RM4,568.87 - RM11,344.26 per month
