- **Transaction Processing**: Help process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions in the accounting system.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to check the accuracy of the accounting records against bank statements.
- **Assist in Financial Reporting**: Support the preparation of periodic financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- **Budget Support**: Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures against the budget, reporting any variances.
- **Tax Assistance**: Help with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
- **Audit Support**: Provide assistance during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and answering queries.
- **Administrative Duties**: Perform administrative tasks as required, such as filing, handling correspondence, and managing schedules.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Entry-level position, although some experience in an accounting role is advantageous.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- **Understanding of Accounting Principles**: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and familiarity with financial reporting.
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- **Organizational Skills**: Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external parties.
