Our Company is looking for a Billing Clerk to be responsible for ensuring and timely billing and collection for all services rendered and handling clerical tasks in our office. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents and performing other general office clerk duties and errands.

**Billing and Invoicing**
- Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance companies
- Ensure all patient information is correct and up-to-date before billing
- Generate and send invoice to patients for services not covered by insurance

**Insurance Coordination**
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issue related to claims
- Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims to ensure timely reimbursement

**Collection**
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Contact patients to discuss payment plans and options
- Manage payment collection and record transaction accurately

**Record keeping**
- Maintain accurate and organized billing records and files
- Update patient billing information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
- Prepare regular reports on billing activities and financial status

**Customer services**
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance
- Provide clear explanations of charges and payment options
- Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and coverage

**Compliance**
- Ensure billing practices comply with standard healthcare regulatory practices
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare billing procedures and policies
- Participate in training sessions to keep skills and knowledge to-up-date

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Finance or accountancy or equivalent
- Experience in a medical billing or in a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Warm personality with excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to work well under limited supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Have a valid driver's license

**Application Process**

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

- Ipoh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Billing Clerk: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)
- Bahasa (preferred)
