Chargehand

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up machines in accordance with competence/knowledge and manufacturers' operating instructions.
- Perform repair and maintenance of plant and equipment to ensure safe working order as required and as directed by the supervisor.
- Inspect equipment and materials before starting work, replacing and reporting any defects, malfunctions, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of plant and equipment.
- Operate machines safely and competently following manufacturers' operating instructions, maintaining good safety and housekeeping standards.
- Conduct inspection duties using various instruments (e.g., micrometers, gauges) to a competent standard.
- Maintain current product quality levels and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with supervisors daily to discuss work plans and address relevant issues.
- Maintain the effectiveness of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate in machinery or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining machinery and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
