Production Manager

**Job Overview/Summary**
The Production Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and control of the re-manufacturing (equipment audit, repair, order preparation, refurbishment) process.
This includes ensuring that goods are audited and repaired timely and efficiently to meet order requirements, the correct amount is produced at the right cost and at the right level of quality with proper feasibility studies done.
Continuous improvement in day to day departmental tasks. To measure and maximize output capacity by improving work efficiency
**Responsibilities**:
**1) Remanufacturing**
- Overseeing the remanufacturing process, drawing up work schedules together with line Supervisors.
- Measuring and maximizing productivity of personnel in functions under management.
- Monitoring the remanufacturing processes and adjusting work schedules as needed.
- Making sure that finished goods are produced on time and are of good quality.
- Monitoring product standards and adhering to quality-control programs.
- The development and/or updating of SOPs and work instructions within the department to ensure a clearly defined and well managed operation with adherence to policies and controls.
- Budget and cost management; understanding cost structures of each work unit and ensuring effective cost management.
- Working out the human and material resources needed; optimize resource utilization across teams to ensure the necessary multi-skilled requirements are in place.
- Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment used in the remanufacturing process.
- Representing the department as cross functional liaison with different departments.
- Continuous improvement via workflow enhancement and the management and monitoring of capacity planning and output targets to ensure operational excellence and the company’s goals are met.
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Supervising and motivating a team of workers.
- Reviewing the performance of subordinates.
- Responsible for all human resource aspects within the department: recruitment, training, KPI structures, performance reviews, career development, disciplinary matters, health and safety, liaison between senior management and staff.
- Preparing and presenting monthly management reports.
**2) New Product Innovation (NPI)**
- Work closely with the NPI and Sales Team to test and produce new products and technical solutions for clients.
**3) Customer Service**
- Follow up to ensure timely and professional appropriate actions were taken on customers' requests and responses to all complaints, requests and queries received
- Maintain and develop internal department and external customer relationship.
- Refer unresolved customer grievances or special requests to designated departments for further investigation.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/IT/Computer Science/Marketing/Finance
- Good spoken and written English
- Good IT Hardware troubleshooting skills and knowledge, preferably attached with a system builder or related industry
- Has experience managing teams.
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
