**About the role**
This is an entry level position for a graduate geoscientist with an interest in a career in quantitative applied geoscience including well log analysis, seismic analysis and using seismic inversion for reservoir characterisation.
The main responsibilities are the accurate and timely delivery of quantitative seismic interpretation services as part of an integrated project workflow using RokDoc technology, within the Asia Pacific Services team.
Quantitative Interpretation of seismic encompasses Geophysics, Petrophysics, Geology and Reservoir Engineering disciplines. Activities include rock physics analysis of well logs, AVO modeling of seismic response to fluid fill and lithology variations, deriving reservoir properties from seismic data using various techniques such as seismic inversion and AVO analysis, and integration with other geophysical techniques such as Geopressure and Geomechanics. Training will be provided in both theory and applied workflows in geoscience.
