Game Mathematician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create mathematical models for games
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for game ideas and features
- Model and tune mathematical models using Excel
- Develop quick prototypes to test game flow and balancing
- Test and verify accuracy of mathematical models via simulations
- Analyze user feedback and game statistics to adjust mathematical models and game design
- Assist in game development process, engaging the team and resolving issues
- Collaborate with Game Designers, Software Developers, Art Directors, and Producers to produce quality games
- Validate and sign off mathematical models to ensure they work as intended
- Troubleshoot with engineers on technical implementation of mathematical models
- Keep records of games and their simulations
- Provide answers and explanations to relevant math questions for game designers, engineers, compliance requirements, and other departments as necessary

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economy, Engineering, Computer Science, Game Design, or related fields
- 2+ years’ experience in game development, math model design, or related fields
- Understanding in combinatorics, statistics, and probability theories
- Understanding of user psychology for games， interest in games from both a designer and player perspective
- Passion for gaming of various genres and understanding of game development
- Proficiency in MS Excel and VBA
- Ability to work in a creative and collaborative environment
- Ability to multitask, work on multiple games concurrently, and deal with changing requirements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
