QA Chemist

**Responsibilities**
- Calibrate and maintain instruments, equipment / apparatus, test methods in accordance with standard methods such as ASTM, IP, UOP, etc
- Maintain requirement for ISO 17025 certification
- Maintain and follow Laboratory Quality Assurance system
- Maintain Statistical Quality Control program
- Prepare quality audit plan for ISO 17025 SAMM and client’s audit
- Calibrate and maintain instruments in accordance with standard methods such as ASTM, IP, UOP, etc
- Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents
- Standardize reagent/equipment
- Conduct Test Method Assessment
- Initiate, investigate and review quality improvement/corrective and preventive action
- Maintain SQC program
- Setup new methods in accordance with standard methods
- Training new analyst on the new methods/instruments
- Upkeep the cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment
- Perform any tasks as assigned by Laboratory Management

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor Degree in Chemicals or Science Principle, having work experiences in petroleum/chemical laboratory is preferred.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

- Johor Bahru: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- QA/QC: 2 years (preferred)
