Drafter (Cabinet)

A cabinet drafter is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for cabinets and other woodworking projects. Cabinet drafter plays a crucial role in translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings that guide the fabrication and installation of cabinets, contributing to the successful completion of construction and renovation projects. Duties include:

- **Interpreting Designs**: Reviewing design specifications, sketches, or architectural plans to understand the requirements for cabinet construction.
- **Drafting**: Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create precise and accurate drawings of cabinet layouts, dimensions, materials, and other specifications.
- **Detailing**: Adding dimensions, annotations, and other necessary information to drawings to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- **Material Selection**: Recommending suitable materials for cabinet construction based on design requirements, budget constraints, and aesthetic preferences.
- **Collaboration**: Working closely with interior designers, contractors, and clients to ensure that cabinet designs meet project specifications and client expectations.
- **Revision and Modification**: Making revisions to drawings as needed based on feedback from stakeholders, design changes, or site conditions.
- **Quality Control**: Ensuring that drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and manufacturing requirements to facilitate accurate fabrication and installation of cabinets.
- **Documentation**: Maintaining organized records of all drawings, revisions, and specifications related to cabinet projects for future reference and documentation purposes.
- **Communication**: Effectively communicating with team members and stakeholders to clarify design requirements, resolve issues, and ensure smooth project coordination.
- **Continuous Learning**: Staying updated on industry trends, new materials, and manufacturing techniques related to cabinet design to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: RM1,526.90 - RM3,538.68 per month

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
