Responsibilities:
Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to achieve the organization's goals and objectives. This includes vessel scheduling, cargo handling, crew management, and maintenance planning.
Vessel Operations: Oversee vessel operations, including voyage planning, navigation, cargo loading and unloading, bunkering, and compliance with international maritime regulations.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards, international regulations (e.g., International Maritime Organization - IMO), and industry best practices to maintain a safe and secure working environment. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any non-compliance issues.
Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including crew, equipment, and supplies, to optimize operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including procedures for incidents such as search and rescue, oil spills, and medical emergencies.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as port authorities, suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth operations, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Contribute to budget development and cost control efforts by monitoring expenses, optimizing operational processes, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising safety and quality.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and technological advancements. Implement best practices and encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the operations team.

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

**Education**:
- Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Maritime: 5 years (preferred)
**Language**:
- Malay & English (preferred)

- 100% (preferred)
