**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Our partner, an Australian expert in providing services to clients in need of independent medical opinions for various personal injury matters, is expanding in Philippines and hiring for **Medical Transcriptionist**. The team has been providing independent medical examinations in Australia for over 15 years and have been transforming healthcare by providing innovative solutions and exceptional care that empowers individuals to live healthier lives.

As a **Medical Transcriptionist**, you will be responsible for converting audio recordings into accurate written transcripts and the role plays an important role in document management and quality assurance and compliance systems. You will be directly reporting to the Manager in Australia, and will be working closely with the onshore team.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Listen to audio recordings carefully and accurately transcribe the spoken content into written form.
- Review and edit transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and coherence, ensuring that they reflect the original content faithfully.
- Meet deadlines consistently, managing workload effectively to complete assignments within given timeframes.
- Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to clarify any unclear passages or terminology, ensuring the accuracy of the final transcript.
- Conduct self-review and quality checks to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency in transcripts.
- Utilise transcription software and tools efficiently to enhance productivity and accuracy.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION**
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or similar role.
- Excellent listening and typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be comfortable to taking phone calls as needed.
- Proficiency in report management, grammar, punctuation and spelling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
