Educareer/childcare

A child caretaker must be highly trustworthy and attentive to children’s needs and also bathe them and take care of their hygiene needs. Responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children to preteens. Duties include coming up with creative and educational activities, preparing and serving snacks to children and maintaining a clean environment for the children.
- To provide high standards of quality within the nursery/pre-school including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
- To plan and maintain accurate and effective children’s records.
- To work with the Childcare and Education team to continuously improve quality of childcare and education.
- To ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met.
- To provide professional child care and early year’s education services for below 18months babies for the working parents.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the baby's room and proper hygiene.
- Respond to situational opportunities and/or problems that occur promptly and demonstrate the ability to minimize the problems.
- Develop, execute and monitor quality performance indicators for continuous improvement.
- Preferably specialized in nursing, first-aid, baby care, pre and post-natal care, living skills or equivalent.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good discipline, organized, committed and friendly nature.
- Committed, trustworthy and dedicated to work and caring for babies.
- Must be willing to learn and adapt well to work and caring for babies.
- Ensure children are safe upon arrival at school and delivered to their respective classes.
- In the event of rain or security reason, organize a different pick-up and drop-off route.
- Liaise with the kitchen staff on the list of groceries need for the week.
- Maintenance of internal and external premises.
- Assist with playgroup session.
- Assist Parent FAQs preparation.
- Assist on Promotional materials.
- Report on the event Plan (PIC) with a standard template.

Requirement:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Nursing/KAP Cert
- KAAK/PERMATA certificate is an added advantage.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related required for this position.
- Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Malacca City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
