**Applicants for the position should**:
- have knowledge and experience and a passion for teaching PE at Upper Primary PE (KS2) and Lower Secondary PE (KS3) levels
- experience of teaching GCSE PE is an advantage but not essential
- experience of teaching A-Level PE is an advantage but not essential
- have a passion for sport and the ability to convey this to students of differing abilities
- be an excellent classroom practitioner who sets high expectations for students
- have excellent communication skills to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
- possess humour, energy and the ability and willingness to go above and beyond, positively contributing to the development of our school.
- exhibit competency in the use of educational technologies
- be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (this is a requirement of the Ministry of Education)

In October 2017, we were awarded The International Schools Quality Mark (ISQM) Gold Level Accreditation and were identified as outstanding in all 8 assessed standards during the accreditation visit. We have retained our Gold Level accreditation at all subsequent visits including the latest in November 2021. The school is also a proud and active member of FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools in Asia) and AIMS (Association of International Malaysian Schools) amongst others.
ISP is home to more than 1400 students from over 60 nationalities. Families are attracted to the community-based approach the school possess.
