Seeking a video editor who is up-to-date with the latest styles, techniques, and aesthetic preferences in the realm of Indian wedding videography. This includes being familiar with current popular editing styles, color grading techniques, transitions, and visual effects that are commonly seen in modern wedding videos. Essentially, you want the editor to be able to create a video that feels fresh, contemporary, and in line with what's currently popular or fashionable in the industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Video Editing:
Use video editing software to assemble raw footage into a finished product.

Cut and trim footage segments to create a cohesive story or sequence.

Add transitions, visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance the video.

Adjust colors, audio levels, and other elements to achieve the desired look and sound.
- Content Creation:
Collaborate with content creators, directors, and producers to understand the creative vision and goals of the video project.

Brainstorm ideas and provide input on storytelling, pacing, and visual style.

Create and edit video content for various platforms such as social media, websites, advertisements, and presentations.
- Quality Control:
Review and analyze footage to ensure technical quality, continuity, and adherence to project specifications.

Identify and correct errors or issues in the video, such as audio glitches, visual inconsistencies, or timing problems.
- File Management:
Organize and manage video files, project assets, and related documentation.

Maintain backups and archives of project files to ensure data security and accessibility.
- Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with team members, including videographers, animators, graphic designers, and sound engineers, to integrate their contributions into the final video.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback, address revisions, and meet project deadlines.
- Creative Problem-Solving:
Use creative problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges, optimize workflows, and achieve desired visual effects.

Stay updated with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in video editing techniques.
- Project Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively.

Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Client Interaction:
Interact with clients to understand their video editing needs, preferences, and feedback.

Present draft versions of videos for review and incorporate client feedback into the final product.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

**Salary**: RM1,809.08 - RM4,078.92 per month

Expected hours: 30 per week
