**Responsibilities**:

- Financial Reporting: Handle full sets of accounts, prepare accurate month end closing, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports within given timelines. Generate financial reports for management and external stakeholders as required.
- Audit Compliance: Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits and reviews to ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and prepare tax returns and filings.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform regular ledger balances and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in the financial statements.
- Banking: Assist Finance Manager and ensure accurate and complete submissions to banks.
- Corporate Secretary: Liaise and review corporate secretary fillings to ensure compliance in accordance with local regulations.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage the Company’s cash flow, including forecasting, optimizing cash resources, and overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Monitor and manage financial transactions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
- Financial Analysis: Analyse financial data and provide insights to help identify opportunities for cost-saving, guide business decisions and strategy development.
- Financial Policies: Uphold and implement financial policies. Contribute to develop financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Ad-hoc Reporting: Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information as needed.
- Any ad-hoc assignment as assigned by the Management.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, MIA, CPA) is a must.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey financial information to non-finance colleagues.
- **Willing to work at Taman Daya, Johor.**

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
