Note: We are not a normal GP clinic. We are a Medical Concierge.

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Locum Doctor to join our team in Malaysia. The Locum Doctor will play a crucial role in providing medical care to patients during periods of staff shortages, leave, or high patient demand. This position offers an excellent opportunity for doctors seeking flexibility in their schedules while contributing to the delivery of quality healthcare services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough medical consultations with patients to assess their health concerns, symptoms, and medical history.
- Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret medical findings to formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine and best practices.

**Patient Care and Management**:

- Provide compassionate and comprehensive medical care to patients across diverse age groups and medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as appropriate, and educate patients on their proper usage and potential side effects.
- Monitor patients' progress, response to treatment, and any adverse reactions, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

**Emergency Response and Urgent Care**:

- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions to stabilize patients' conditions.
- Handle urgent care cases, including minor injuries, acute illnesses, and medical emergencies, with efficiency and expertise.
- Coordinate with emergency medical services and hospital facilities for patient referrals and transfers as needed.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient consultations, examination findings, treatment plans, and follow-up notes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and medical documentation requirements, including patient confidentiality and data protection.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Communicate medical information, treatment recommendations, and follow-up instructions clearly and compassionately to patients and their families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid and current registration with the Malaysian Medical Council.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care or general practice.
- Excellent clinical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and managing common medical conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
