Production Supervisor

**Job Responsibility**
- Lead the production team in daily operations.
- Review and ensure that production schedules and efficiency align with the Company's targets.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in furniture production, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and components, and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve optimal performance and quality output.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement design changes for improved efficiency and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Liaise with other departments such as quality assurance, logistics, and sales to address production-related issues and ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects to enhance overall production efficiency and effectiveness.

**Job Requirements:

- **
- Preferably specializing in the manufacturing of wooden furniture.
- Familiarity with woodworking machines is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience in the furniture industry is required.
- Must be able to work independently, demonstrate effective management skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Creativity, multitasking ability, and responsiveness to urgent requests are necessary.
- Good discipline and attendance record with mínimal unplanned leave.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude towards work and the company.
- Immediate availability to start work is an advantage.

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
