**Job Description and Qualifications**

Purpose

To able to execute & control the quality of manufacture of column & cold box piping work, with expected quality following the Air Product’s specification & relative code & standard’s requirement.**Nature and Scope**:

- The job holder is the Inspector in Technical & Quality Department and reports directly to the QA Engineer. His/Her responsible is to undertake the quality control work during product manufacturing, and achieve the good quality of final products_

- PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Quality control, as inspector, to all products, column & cold box, during all manufacturing process.
- To follow & execute the Air products specification & relative design/manufacture codes & standards.
- To be responsible for material check, drawing interpretation, cleaning check, inspection, witness & final check to pressure vessels & pressure piping, pressure test witness, which is specified & identified as key inspection points.
- To review the check list, prepare the dossier & reports per quality plan requirement.
- To assist & coordinate the inspection activity from authority or client’s representative.
- To provide kinds of training to shop workers.
- Any other work assigned to him/her.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification
- Education: Technical school degree and better above
- Computer skill: Skilled in office Software
- Other skill: 1) Familiar with inspection tools
- 2) Able to interpret fabrication drawings
- 3) Familiarize with Pressure Vessel Design, Inspection & Testing
- 4) Able to perform visual inspection on welding and identify defects
- Work Experience- Job Incumbent is expected to have background of boiler, pressure vessel & machinery manufacture.
- Job Incumbent is expected to have minimum 4 years work experience in a similar work environment in manufacture facility, with suitable inspection skills & inspection tools using skills.
- This job is expected to have good ability of drawing reading & understanding of boilers, pressure vessel or pressure piping, and some knowledge of relative codes & standards.
- This job is expected to have some knowledge of NDE & welding.
- This job requires sensitive view on quality issue & ability of problem solving.
- This job requires high accountability on performance.
