Key Responsibilities 1. Prepare and examine financial records 2. Ensuring records are accurate and that taxes are paid 3. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts 4. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures 5. Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met 6. Prepare financial management reports 7. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close 8. Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures 9. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities 10. Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities 11. Monitor and support taxation issues 12. Develop and maintain financial data bases 13. Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process 14. Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses 15. Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues 16. Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems 17. To assist in liaising with the auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, company secretaries and other relevant authorized and government parties. 18. To assist in the updating of daily sales report, keying-in of all new car’s sales order, to monitor on all new car’s registration including ensuring that all payments are collected in full, before releasing of any new cars to the customers. 19. To assist in establishing & enforcing internal control policies & procedures to improve the company financial and accounting systems. Also, to assist in the SST compliance in term of existing systems and enhancement of operational process. 20. To assist in the company cash management and to assist the finance team in improving strategic initiatives, planning & reporting. To assist in performing and managing day to day financial transaction, weekly cash flow and operation budgets to ensure good credit control and to maintain strong cash flow. 21. To assist in processing payments for suppliers and staff claim expenses in accordance with the policies and procedures of the company. 22. To assist in the timely submission of all financial reports to the Management including analysis of financial & accounting information, cash flow projections & budgetary control. 23. To assist the Management in monitoring the financial performance of the company against budget & to assist in implementing action plans on cost reduction programs. To also assist in identifying and resolving operational issues relating to the account and admin divisions. 24. To assist in the financial audit preparation and to assist in coordinating the audit work relating to both internal and external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records. Is further responsible to assist in the implementation of agreed upon recommendations resulting from the audit findings. 25. To carry out any duties and job functions in which you may be instructed from time to time by the Company or persons acting on behalf of the Company. 26. To maintain good house keeping and up-keep of the work place, according to standard set.
