Key Responsibilities:
Sample Preparation and Testing:Prepare samples and materials for testing according to established procedures.
Conduct various tests, measurements, and experiments on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Record test results accurately and ensure timely reporting to the relevant teams.
Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:Assist in the maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of laboratory equipment and instruments.
Ensure equipment is in proper working condition and report any malfunctions or issues.
Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain detailed and organized records of test results, procedures, and observations.
Prepare and update documentation related to laboratory activities, experiments, and quality control processes.
Data Analysis:Assist in analyzing test data and results, helping to identify trends, deviations, and potential quality issues.
Collaborate with senior lab staff to interpret data and draw conclusions.
Safety and Compliance:Follow laboratory safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Adhere to quality control standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO or FDA regulations.
Inventory Management:Maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies, reagents, and materials.
Assist in ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
Assistance in Research and Development:Support research and development efforts by participating in experiments and data collection.
Assist in the preparation of prototypes and samples for testing and evaluation.
Communication and Collaboration:Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Share relevant information and findings with colleagues and superiors.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:Assist in troubleshooting issues related to equipment, procedures, and test results.
Collaborate with the team to identify solutions and implement improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or relevant certification in a scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, physics).
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred but not always required.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Basic understanding of scientific principles and laboratory techniques.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and reporting data.
- Proficiency in using computer software for data entry and analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety-conscious and diligent in following protocols.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
**Salary**: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Klang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
