Work Location: Puchong

We are hiring a **Mechanical Drafter** for our Engineering Services Team in Puchong. **The roles and responsibilities of this role will include**:

- Mechanical Drafting Tools and Processes: Computer aided design modeling. Create computer models for mechanical design analysis, engineering analysis and other uses.
- Create documentation package and verify accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure that goals and objectives are met through effective involvement, contribution, and coordination.
- Ensure that goals and objectives are met through effective involvement and contribution.
- Ensure quality results in all deliverables.
- Self-development activities may include, but are not limited to, participation in professional organization(s), networking, educational and certification courses.
- Effectively exercise interpersonal skills.

**Required Skills/Experience -**
- Product Support: Ability to translate verbal or written directions from engineers into drawings and able to relate back with to the original idea.
- Ability to understand/interpret product and tooling cost data as they relate to the design of the product.
- Business Industry Knowledge: Ability to acquire knowledge of the Steelcase organization, processes, products, standards, and information systems.
- Problem Solving/Decision Making: Ability to use a variety of methods and techniques in solving technical issues.
- Interpersonal: Ability to work with peers and management in a multi-disciplined team environment.
- Administrative: Ability to work on multiple assignments and effectively manage time and priorities.
- Ability to communicate technical information with all audiences

**Education/Experience**:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 1 - 2 years relevant working experience.
