Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:
Reporting to Sr. Manager - People & Culture Business Partner - MY, the incumbent will assist business leadership team in formulating people strategies and will be responsible for driving the implementation of those strategies.
- As a credible activist, incumbent is expected to deliver and advise business stakeholders on overall People& Culture not limited to the following areas; deploy people strategy, preserve organizational health & shape culture, lead labour & employee relations, workforce planning & organizational design, deploy COE developed standards programs, deploy IE&D strategies and enhance employee life cycle experience.
- Enable on-site People & Culture Business Partners and other Regional or Global People partners (as needed) with related HR processes for local employee relations & operational execution.
- In partnership with Talent Specialist, provide Talent Management thought leadership and lead in the implementation for business unit led initiatives as well as enterprise talent and project work (talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, performance management)
- In partnership with Talent Acquisition Specialist, driving talent attraction strategy to “buy” the best external talent for open roles.
- Responsible to provide compensation and benefits (C&B) advice to Team Leaders, lead in proposal of salary offers, compensation adjustments, promotional increases and annual salary planning and market surveys activities. In partnership with regional C&B Specialist, drive regional C&B program at country level.
- Change Management: Provide advice, counsel and information and serve as a resource for facilitating, planning, and implementing large scale change initiatives (to improve organizational effectiveness). As a credible specialist, engage with stakeholders in change management initiatives.
- Lead, facilitate and partner with business leaders in driving action plans following Employee Engagement and Enablement Survey
- Advisor for internal engagement committees in creating & executing well-being plans in line with global framework, governance & local specificities-regulations.
- Partnership with other People & Culture Business Partners to identify and execute training interventions for employee skills upgrading.

Essential Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or MBA in related major/discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience in medium sized MNC organization with good working knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
- Substantial HR experience (operational and strategic) in fast moving environment is an added advantage
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Must be able to influence without direct authority through building effective partnerships
- Actively pursuing continuous improvement in HR processes
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, comfort in dealing with senior leaders and leading change initiatives
- Experience benchmarking and implementing best-in-class strategies, processes and programs
- Able to multi-task, result driven and resourceful
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and great team player.
