Ramp Supervisor

a. Support Ramp Manager in monitoring and managing Weight and Balance and Ramp Operation activities that facilitate the effective performance of the ground handling function during assigned tour of duty period, and to maintain the highest level of safety, security and service standards for ground operations. He is also responsible to plan, manage and conduct Weight and Balance initial/recurrent training for all stations and promote AirAsia culture within the organization.

b. To monitor and manage the operation activities that facilitate the effective performance of the ground handling function during the assigned tour of duty period and strictly within stipulated rules and regulation (e.g. SOP, GOM, airport authorities and other regulators).

c. Ensure Ground Operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and standards of AirAsia Berhad.

d. To establish division goals and objectives in line with the company’s vision and mission.

e. To ensure the daily operations are carried out based on the department's objectives.

f. To plan and manage the Load Control services/training for all stations.

g. To deliver a safe and on time departure of all flights departing from all station airports.

h. To supervise load control and ramp activity to ensure safe and smooth operation.

i. To monitor progress of any new project implemented in the department.

j. To ensure RAMP third-party service provider activities are strictly in line with safety policy, GOM.

k. Active participation in Organizational meetings and problem-solving activities.

l. Must be proactive in implementing, monitoring and enforcing Organizational goals.

m. To ensure record and filling systems of the division are effectively managed in line with regulatory requirements (e.g. IATA, CAAM, ICAO etc).

n. Monitoring 3rd Party ground service providers on Ramp Cargo towing and aircraft handling activity are in compliance with GOM and regulations.

o. To ensure 3rd Party ground service provider compliance to safety rules and regulation as set by CAAM, Local Regulatory Authority, ICAO, IATA, COMPANY SAFETY COMMITTEE and other authorities as deemed appropriate.

p. Responsible for implementation and enforcement of safe practices and self audits on a regular basis.

q. To perform audit / observations and training for all third-party ground service providers especially for international stations.

r. To ensure consistent service delivery with regards to On Time Performance (OTP).

s. The Ramp Executive shall also maintain the highest level of safety, security and service standards for ground operations.

t. To monitor Terminal Operations of KLIA2, KLIA1 including all airports and collaborate with all relevant authorities to ensure smooth passenger handling flow.

u. To monitor Cargo operations in the warehouse and aircraft operations.

v. To monitor aircraft cleaning operations during night stop at all hubs.
