Knowledge of:

- Principles and techniques of high pressure gas and liquid piping,security installation, mechatronic and electricity.
- Electrical power wiring (single&three phase) and electrical power testing methods
- Operation of sheet metal fabrication machinery,welding,air compressor,industrial gas process plant,conveyor and burner.
- Operational characteristics of mechanical equipment and tools used in the area of work assigned.
- Tools, equipment and supplies used in providing comprehensive building maintenance services.
- Occupational hazards and standard safety practices necessary in the area of work assigned.

Ability to:

- Identify problems and implement solutions and improvement.
- Design and setup electricity supply network,water,compress air and industrial gas piping.
- Repair plumbing, machinery, building installation and electrical circuitry.
- Understand electricity,pheumatic and hydraulic diagram
- Operate reach truck and forklift.
- Work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Operate a personal computer and peripherals.
- Understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

**Experience**:

- 2-3 years above of General building and plant facilities maintenance experience.

Working Conditions:

- Travel from plant to plant or house to house.
- Exposure to dust, heat and noise work environments.
- Some heavy lifting, standing, climbing.
- May work at heights.
- Work in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities as follows but not limited to:
1. MSB room and SSB -check current reading voltage and power factor.

2. Operating and maintenance of High Tension (HT) electrical installation (11kv).

3. Be responsible for carrying out all duties of a HT Chargeman as required under Electrical Act and Regulation.

4. Be responsible for other LV electrical equipment such as electrical panel, motor and pumps, chiller and cooling water, etc.

5. Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance work accordance to the plan.

6. Liaison with local statutory bodies for licensing and compliance.

7. To provide assistant in the event of breakdown.

8. Resetting the MSB,SSB and control panel box when overcurrent and earth-fault relay trip.

9. To monitor and ensure contractors work according to the Management's requirement.

10. Respond to emergency calls when directed by company.

11. Complete daily work record forms and job assignment sheet.

12. Work with the administrator to ensure spending is within budget.

13. Reads factory blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics and wiring diagrams.

14. To assist and coordinate Annual DOSH inspection for utilities machine and equipment.

15. Responsible for plant wide, preventive maintenance, improvement project, troubleshooting and sourcing.

16. Train and coach Electrical and instrument Technician.

17. Electrical system / equipment design and sizing.

18. Assist in planning anf executing scheduled repair and preventive maintenance on all electrical and instrumentation systems.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
