We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Helper. The Kitchen Helper will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen and contribute to the delivery of high-quality culinary experiences to our customers. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food and hospitality to gain valuable experience in a dynamic kitchen environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**: Assist in food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor.
- **Stock Management**: Assist in receiving, organizing, and rotating food and supplies deliveries. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen manager.
- **Cleaning and Sanitization**: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas. Follow proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
- **Dishwashing**: Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Ensure that all items are washed, rinsed, and sanitized according to food safety guidelines.
- **Assistance During Service**: Support kitchen staff during busy service periods by restocking ingredients, retrieving and delivering items to the cooking stations, and assisting with plating and garnishing dishes.
- **Trash Removal**: Collect and dispose of kitchen waste and garbage in designated bins or dumpsters. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in trash disposal areas.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage guidelines. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- **Assist in Special Projects**: Assist the chef or kitchen manager in special projects, menu development, or event preparation as needed.

**Requirements**:

- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in a fast-paced environment.
- **Team Player**: Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
- **Attention to Detail**: Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- **Reliability**: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- **Food Safety Knowledge**: Basic knowledge of food safety principles and practices is an asset. Willingness to undergo food safety training if not already certified.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
- **Passion for Food**: A genuine interest in food and hospitality, with a desire to learn and grow in the culinary industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- STM/STPM (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen Staff: 1 year (preferred)
