Radiation Therapist

**Job Summary**
- Administer radiation treatment to cancer patients. S/He works include CT simulation, verification and treatment.
- Provide patient education and conduct patient assessment on weight loss and mucositis
- Ensures safety of the patient before, during and after procedure by providing the necessary care and constant monitoring of patient’s conditions.
- Adheres strictly to rules and regulations on radiation protection to assure safety of patients and other personnel.
- Ensures that all technical details processing from simulation stage, planning stage, until daily treatment delivery to the patients are accurate and precise per planned.
- Maintains proper care, quality control of the equipment and related accessories to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Records any faults/breakdown of equipment in the log book and reports immediately to the Medical Physicist and Manager.
- Maintains adequate stocks of medical supplies and accessories in CT Simulation room, control room and treatment room.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment in CT Simulation room, control room, treatment room and the whole department.

**Job Requirement**:

- Minimum qualification - Diploma in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
- Have experience in healthcare will be advantageous.
