We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as **Assistant Vice President, Wealth Asia Risk and Control - Hybrid** (Internal Job Title: Compl Bus Control Manager - **C12**) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role is part of the Wealth Asia Risk and Control team and is integral to establishing a robust Wealth sales control that enables effective risk and control management by the Wealth Asia business.

Reporting to the Wealth Asia Risk and Control Lead for Citigold/Citi Private Client (CG/CPC) controls, this role will be responsible for managing sales & distribution (S&D) related controls, segment management (SM) related controls, manager control assessment (MCA) testing, policies and procedures, and branch controls. The incumbent is expected to stay abreast in ensuring compliance on global and regional policies, legal and regulatory guidelines that relate to Retail Branch Operations, and Client Servicing.

**In this role, you’re expected to**:

- **MCA Management**: Provide end to end MCA management for S&D and SM businesses.
- Drive the overall MCA including both the Regional Offices Quarterly and Annual Risk Assessment (QRA/ARA) processes.
- Perform quality assurance on country MCA results, ensure data quality uplift, action on adverse risk/control trends, SMP Adoption, Simplification/Rationalization.
- Analyze MCA issues/trends & work with the business on implementing appropriate corrective actions.
- ** S&D and SM Governance Framework**:Drive the execution of a robust and consistent of both a S&D (covering all sales, service and branch operations channels across CG, CPC teams and products including insurance, investments & deposit) and SM (covering oversight on launch of new segment/value proposition, client events) governance framework for Asia. Enhance the focus on controls to ensure that branch banking, sales and distribution, front office operations practices, launch of new segment/value proposition follow Citigroup policies and local regulations and that supervision and monitoring processes are fully effective.
- ** Specialist Risk and Control Advisory to Business**:Works in close partnership with the Business Heads providing specialist risk and control advice and guidance to ensure consistency across the S&D and SM MCA ARCMs (Activities, Risks, Controls, Monitoring).
