Merchandiser (Fashion Apparel)

**KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Plan and manage merchandising budget and cost control.
- Conceptualize and ideate strategies and sales plan for the brand.
- Quarterly plan at category/season level that reflects the best possible methods for product to achieve KPI’s.
- Plan timeline to meet the range plan with Brand Manager.
- Work out the forecast from category/Season buys with Brand Manager.
- Create, review and maintain a healthy OTB.
- Analyze the sell thru of products and make recommendations if need to replenish, discontinue or markdown.
- Review and analyze sales performance which covers data review as well as customer and sales team feedback.
- Oversee and monitor stock levels.
- Planning, coordinating and executing of stock distribution to sales channels.
- Planning, coordinating and executing stocks for events and/or tradeshows.
- Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly and annual sales and profit report.
- Meet with manufacturers with regards to product fabrication.
- Ensure products are produced with quality at the most cost effective level.
- Propose suitable and competitive price point with a good margin.
- Market research on competitors’ product offerings.
- Keep up-to-date with local and global streetwear news and trends.
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- At least 1 - 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Experience in retail/fashion industry is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing of clothing items, independently or professionally is preferred.
- Knowledge in fabrics and clothing materials is preferred.
- Excellent in MS Excel knowledge.
- Able to work in a fast pace working environment.
- Able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
- Sound decision-making skills and the ability to plan and priorities.
- Capable to work well as part of a team and to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills.
- Willing to travel locally or overseas when required.
- Willing to work in Damansara Heights.

**Salary**: From RM3,500.00 per month
