Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia HQC ENGINEERING MALAYSIA SDN BHD Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- To support the management team and the individual EPC project management teams in achieving project quality requirements in line with customer practices and standards
- To provide leadership in the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing development of the quality assurance manual and quality assurance processes, procedures and general management system
- Ensuring the contract is managed and delivered to technical standards and satisfaction.
- Ensuring the contract is managed and delivered to customer standards and satisfaction.
- Ensuring that the overall design and engineering, the equipment and material supply and the construction and commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the project Quality Management Programmer and all necessary records are kept and auditable in the future.
- The preparation, issue, revision and development of the contract quality management plan, inspection and verification strategy and assurance plans in conjunction with the project director and project managers
- To ensure QA/QC personnel (including inspection, welding and NDT disciplines) are competent to perform their duties relating to the scope of work as identified in the contract.
- To ensure the Quality Assurance and Quality Control group is resourced with the correct disciplines, skills, knowledge and numbers to deliver the Project to the requirements of the contract.
- To provide oversight on plan and co-ordination of customer /third party participation in inspection and testing at manufacturer’s facilities
- Functional management ensuring systems are in place to manage resourcing and administrative aspects such as holidays expenses and training
- Performance of quality assurance audits on company and contractor management systems to check implementation of quality standards and practices
- Ensure maintenance of quality records
- Ensure that robust quality control plans are in place for all suppliers, vendors and subcontractors
- Manage Quality Assurance/Control; coordinate the EPC execution involving during detail engineering phase through Construction and commissioning/ start-up phases in order to ensure adequate flow of information and materials to the field to meet established schedule, cost and productivity objectives.
- Implement good Quality Assurance/Control methods/system and Safety system to timely completion of work managing all Quality Assurance/Control resources as part of PMT team and work closely with all EPC contractors.
- Approve all temporary and permanent appointments for QA/QC group personnel.
- Develop a good team spirit within assigned personnel and encourage team working with the Contractor and other customer groups
- Familiar and well versed with DOSH rules and regulations

.Well versed on technical documentation and preparation of final document for submission to the client

Others:

- Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering / Quality or equivalent
- Able to work in a fast moving organisation and work with all levels of people
- Able to travel as assigned


**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: RM13,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
