**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Set up and test all audio equipment, including microphones, mixers, headphones, audio interfaces, and speakers.
- Conduct sound checks with all audio sources, ensuring levels are balanced and there's no interference or feedback.
- Verify all audio lines and channels are correctly routed and free from interference.
- Ensure monitor speakers or in-ear monitors for on-site talent or performers are working correctly.
- Set up and test intercom or talkback systems for communication between the production crew.
- Ensure backup recording and audio systems are in place for emergencies.
- Actively adjust and mix audio sources in real-time during the broadcast to maintain balance and clarity.
- Ensure that audio levels remain consistent and within broadcasting standards, avoiding peaking or clipping.
- Manage audio cues, such as background music, sound effects, or pre-recorded segments.
- Use noise gates, compressors, and equalizers to reduce unwanted noise or enhance audio quality.
- Actively communicate with the director, talent, and other crew members about audio needs or issues.
- Address and rectify any technical or quality issues.
- Dismantle, safely store, and maintain audio equipment after use.
- Ensure that all audio equipment is safely secured and that cables are managed to prevent tripping hazards.
- Regularly clean and maintain equipment to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
- Work in harmony with the entire team, ensuring that audio complements the visual content seamlessly.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum SPM/ SPVM qualification. Recognized Diploma in relevant field is an added advantage.
- Preferably have previous experience in audio visual management.
- Technically sound and capable.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills.
