IT Technician

Responsibilities:

- Perform hardware and software maintenance which includes of installing, configuring and maintaining computer systems, servers, and updating software as needed.
- Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software and network related issues. Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and optimal performance. Implement and manage security measures to protect against unauthorized access.
- Coordinate and execute system upgrades and installations, and ensure compatibility and proper functioning of new hardware and software.
- Implement backup solutions to protect critical data. Develop and execute data recovery procedures when necessary.
- Enforce and monitor security protocols to safeguard IT system and data, and stay updated on security trends.
- Provide training to end users on IT systems and best practices, while create documentation for common issues and solutions.
- Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments or external vendors as well as participate in project teams for IT related initiatives. Maintain accurate records of system configuration, changes and maintenance activities.
- Create and update documentation for IT processes and procedures, and keep track of hardware inventory, including procurement and equipment.
- Provide remote support to end users as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT (software & hardware) technical support
- Technical skills and knowledge of computer systems, networks, servers, and software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are crucial for this post
- Strong problem-solving skills are essential in this role

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
